Project Pinterest!

My sis in law Krista and I got together a few weeks ago for a pinterest craft night and it was SO much fun! I had a blast with her and finally got to do one of the crafts I have been dying to do! It was so easy and the supplies were super easy to get!! I can't wait for our next crafty adventure! haha So much fun! Inspiration for our craft is here. So cute!

All you need is canvas, fav pic, mod podge, paint brush, acrylic paint and scrapbook paper. The only thing I would change different next time is the scrapbook paper on the out side it was such a pain to get the length and width right! Even with a scrapbook page trimmer next time I do this I am just going to paint the sides or leave them white. I painted one and left one white on the edge let me know which one you like better?!!

Krista did a fathers day gift for Jeff in two different colors but SO dang cute. She also used a much thinner canvas board then I did so she didn't need to do the sides. I loved both of hers! She is so amazing with her crafty skills! Loved it! Thanks for crafting with me Krista! You are the bomb!!

Lake Season

 Every summer growing up I remember going to lake Roosevelt at least a couple times throughout the summer. Some of the best times and fav memories I have! The older the boat got though....the more adventure we began to have haha! Our old boat has died so many times out on the lake it's not even funny! There was one time in particular when the boat battery had died (once again) and we had to dock it onto the trailer before this massive storm blew in. I remember trying to get the boat on our rickety dying boat trailer and almost getting smashed in the process because of the winds of justice smashing it into us! Then of course it started to rain like hurricane and I thought death was going to ensue! haha ok dramatic but funny sounding! Any whosers....We had put my bros kids in the truck to stay safe and when we came back they had locked the doors with the keys inside! hahaha disastrous! Luckily (after much coaching and patience) Kloey the oldest was able to figure out how to finally open it and we all jumped in to safety and got the boat out of the water. It was horrible! But at the same time a memory that I will never forget.

And it JUST so happens that I married a smoking hot, amazingly sweet, and proud pretty much brand new boat owner! hahaha so my lake adventures begin once more! Since I have known Joey we have already taken out the boat 4-5 times last summer and I am so excited for boatasticness again! WOO HOO! Bring on the summer funness! Oh and here are some random lake pics on various trips from last summer! So fun!

MDAY

So with everything that has happened in my life up to this point I really thought mothers day would be no prob right?! haha not so much I was in DENIAL hahaha did good all day until I got home...then it all settled in. Sad pandas everywhere. Even with my beautiful amazing husband to come home to everyday it still hurt not being able to hold a sweet little baby in my arms as another year passed. I never really let my emotions out much on my blog much but it was a very sad day for me. More than anything I want to be a Mom and have a little one to care for and share that joy that every parent feels in raising a child with my hubby. I know Joey isn't really ready for kids yet...I think he is still getting used to marriage haha poor guy intense life changes all at once! I couldn't have imagined how different my life would have been if I would have had kids before this point anyway. I am in such a better place and happier situation to be able to raise a family. So grateful to the Lord for that and not giving up on me.

I do want to say though that I have one of the most amazing Moms out there. She means the world to me! She has done so much for me through the years and I can't imagine my life without her. Above is some pictures of my wedding dress she made cause she has mad skills of justice! She is such a hoot to always cracking me up with her little randomness dancing with lace haha! The pic above that was on my bday last year so crazy how fast life changes. I love my Mommy so much! and to the already moms out there..be grateful for your little ones and the little blessings they are in your lives. :)  For those of you still waiting like me..I hope your time will come soon and if not you can find happiness in the other parts of you life. I wanted to add this quote below because sometimes we get down on ourselves for feeling bad but don't...it's ok to cry if you are like me it helps you feel better.

Birthday Sis!

Took my lovely sis out for her bday a week or so ago and it was wonderful funness! Just thought I would share a few pics of the good time we had. Seriously my big sis means the world to me we have been through so much together I can't imagine my life without her and SHE is seriously the funnest person in all the land to shop with! I never get bored with her and it's always fun! I can tell her anything and we laugh about everything! Wetzel Pretzels and photobooths abound! haha love it and LOVE YOU sis!! Your the best!!

Back to Bloggin

 I realize it has been SO very long since I have blogged anything! Failure of the Jenn! haha well since my new fantastically wonderful husband isn't very "tech" savy he is rarely..no never online haha he hates being on the computer! So naturally I want to spend time with him hence my neglect! haha well now my sweet man is working like a mad man at his new job for MMITANK so I am going to be having much more time on here! yay!

Since no one really likes to read a butt load of words I will sum up my past 6 months with pictures and highlights. :)

*First engaged to the most amazing man Joseph William Richards (he proposed to me with a ring pop originally at the air port where our first date was so cute!) then I picked out my ring later it reminds me of two Js intertwined for Jenn and Joey I LOVE it.

*Then married my wonderful sexy man

*Moved out of my sisters house (seriously cried for a couple weeks after) I loved living with her and her little fam I have so many good memories!

*Found out my bestest bestie Britt is finally prego with a little boy named Declan and in vitro worked! (called me as I was about to fly out on a plane to our honeymoon) haha so stinking happy for her she deserves it more than anyone I know!! Love u Britt!

*Went on an amazing honeymoon to Cancun Mexico thanks to my sis (a free week with her time share) oh and we are both scuba certified so that was even more amazing!!

*Rented my first apartment EVER (which I hate living in by the way) haha but it is SUPER close to my work! We plan to move and start renting a house as soon as we can. :)

*Celebrated my little brother Matt coming home from the mission so missed his face!

*Found out my little bro and his wife Tri Tri are prego and having a little girl! Super happy for them they are going to be amazing parents.

*Roxy getting the sickest she has ever got had diarrhea for almost a week with blood andmucus(i know TMI) and she was throwing up it was horrible! I thought she was going to die but she survived and is doing so well! I also got her fixed and a growth removed! Poor fluff had a rough year!

*Joey got a new job for MMITANK located here in AZ (welding) he was travelling back and forth to Texas earlier this year and it was awful never seeing him! When he got the job I made him try on his gear and take a picture haha! Hardhat and everything! I just had to post because he so cute! HAHA

Last of all Joey and I are loving life working and getting settled in our new routine together. We have known each other for a full year now and been married for six months already! It feels like it was just yesterday that I met him. He seriously is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I never thought I could open my heart this fully again..and I totally have. The Lord has blessed us so much and I am so grateful for his plan even though we can't see it at the time everything has a purpose and works out how it should if you stay close to the spirit and keep his commandments. I am so happy and excited for my life ahead.
